Safety Features

Blockage detection (MCMS)

Motor Current Monitoring System (MCMS) with Active Retraction: Our system incorporates advanced technology to detect pressure against a moving mobile shelving unit. Upon detecting an increase in pressure, the MCMS initiates a safety stop, prompting the shelving unit to retract approximately 4 inches. This proactive measure ensures the safety of individuals and prevents entrapment or injury, demonstrating our commitment to safety and innovation.

Passive safety

Safety features

Visual safety (Passive safety)

Introducing Enhanced Safety Feature: Prioritizing user safety, our system includes a feature that mandates users to verify if an open aisle is occupied by another user. Confirmation of an empty aisle is required by touching both control panels located to the left and right of the open aisle. Once confirmed, the system grants access to open another aisle, ensuring a secure operating environment for all users.

Emergency

Manual override

Introducing Backup Functionality for Uninterrupted Access: Our electronic system is equipped with a backup function to ensure access to system contents even in the event of an unexpected error. Simply press the manual override button located at the bottom of the user interface to bypass the system software and open an aisle. To maintain safety, the system disregards sensor input during manual override, requiring the button to be held down during movement. Additionally, if an aisle is protected via access control, authorization is necessary before the manual override can be activated.

fire park

Emergency

Fire pARK

Integrate Your Bruynzeel System with Building Fire Alarms: Opt for the option to connect our system to your building's fire alarm for enhanced safety measures. In the event of a fire alarm, the system will automatically transition into a "fire park" position, creating small openings between all mobile units to facilitate effective fire extinguishing or fire tracing. Simultaneously, an acoustic warning will sound, alerting users to the emergency.

Battery Backup

Emergency

Battery back-up

During a power failure, the battery backup seamlessly takes over the power supply, ensuring uninterrupted access to the electronic installations. With guaranteed full functionality for at least 30 minutes under normal use, the backup power system provides peace of mind, regardless of the load or the number of mobiles in operation.

RFID

Access & Security

Access control

The Dynamic II system boasts Access Control functionality, allowing users to lock aisles using either a PIN-code or RFID access card. This ensures that only authorized users have access to the aisle and its contents. For enhanced security, we offer a compatible external card reader option, enabling seamless integration of the mobile shelving system's access control with existing building access control systems.

Access & Security

Securitymaster®

Ensure Security with Lockable Mobile Blocks: Mobile blocks can be electronically or mechanically locked, providing robust protection against unauthorized access. Electronic locking systems detect and resist forced entry attempts, triggering an acoustic alarm for immediate notification. Aisles protected by Access Control are automatically locked, with the operating software detecting any unauthorized attempts to open them by force. The system actively prevents opening aisles by human force and activates alarms as a deterrent. For added security, items are hidden in the Dynamic II ControlMaster® app for users without access rights to the system or specific aisles.

Functional Features

Ventilation mode

Introducing User-Programmable Ventilation Mode: Our system features a convenient ventilation mode that enables airflow through the system during customizable time periods. Users can program ventilation settings for each day of the week, ensuring optimal airflow management tailored to specific needs and schedules.

Functional features

Library mode

Introducing Library Mode for Enhanced Accessibility: In environments like libraries requiring open access to all aisles at certain times, our system offers a unique feature. Users can create aisles ranging from 800mm to 1200mm between each mobile shelving unit, facilitating easy movement and access. With the specifically designed "library mode" in our electronic mobile system, Dynamic II, users can effortlessly open all aisles at once for full access to the system or close all aisles to free up floor space for events, gatherings, or presentations. Administrators can utilize the PIN code on the displays to activate these functions, providing flexibility and convenience for both regular business hours and special events.

Functional Features

Integrated (smart) Aisle lighting

Benefit from Bruynzeel’s LED Aisle Lighting: With our innovative LED lighting solution for high-density systems, separate lighting fixtures become unnecessary. LED lighting is integrated into every cabinet of the mobile storage system, illuminating only the aisle that is opened, enhancing visibility while minimizing energy consumption. Through the Dynamic II App, users can configure the duration for which the aisle lighting remains on, ensuring efficient energy use. By switching to Bruynzeel’s LED lighting, you not only enjoy enhanced functionality but also contribute to reducing environmental impact and lowering CO2 emissions.
