Annual Maintenance

With annual maintenance, you can be sure that your storage system will be checked and tests carried out to maintain the safe operation of the system. We also ensure that you fulfil the health & safety requirements set by UK & EU directives and standards.

EU Directive 2009/104/EC and EU Standard EN15095 

These directives and standards regulate the minimum health and safety requirements for the use of powered mobile shelving systems. "The equipment shall be maintained by authorised persons in accordance with the supplier's guidelines (at least once a year)." For mechanically driven mobile systems, we also recommend inspection at least once a year, to maintain the system in the best way, both from an operational and safety point of view.

PUWER 1998 – Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998

PUWER requires that equipment provided for use at work is:

  • Suitable for the intended use
  • Safe for use, maintained in a safe condition and inspected to ensure it is correctly installed and does not subsequently deteriorate
  • Used only by people who have received adequate information, instruction and training
  • Accompanied by suitable health and safety measures, such as protective devices and controls. 
  • Used in accordance with specific requirements, for mobile work equipment and power presses

What Is Included
