Highlights
A large infrastructure project called, "Trg pravde", is taking form in Zagreb. The aim of the project it to gather all judicial bodies in one place. The first part of the project, funded by the World Bank, was to renovate an old historical building from the 18th century together with a new building to facilitate the land registry department, part of the Ministry of Justice. From having documents and books scattered around in several different premises it was decided to centralise everything in one place. Our dealer Primat Logistika got the honor to install the archives for this project.
The Land Registry Department belongs to the largest Municipal Court in Croatia which employs over 180 people, judges, court advisors and clerks, who handle slightly more than 5,000 cases per month. The archive contains really old books and documents dating back to the beginning of the 1900s. Authorization with RFID tags, being able to connect the archive systems to their fire extinguisher/alarm, and ventilation mode during the night to have optimal environment for the books and documents were of significant importance.
All together, Primat Logistika installed 10 blocks with Compactus® Dynamic II high density mobile storage systems, with a total of 7 km of shelving, more than 400 m of rails installed in the concrete floor and more than 60 ton of material (mostly unoiled, non-galvanized steel). A modern and well organised archive which will facilitate the storage of future documents. The building was inaugurated by the Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenković, together with representatives from the EU in July 2022.
