Our passive infrared technology (PIR) serves as an entrance detection system, detecting when a person enters an open aisle within a range of 7-10 feet.. This feature ensures that the system halts movement when someone enters a closing aisle, enhancing user safety.
The SafetyMaster® captures an image of an open and unoccupied aisle. When there's an attempt to close the aisle, it compares the current situation with the stored image of the empty aisle. If The SafetyMaster® detects people or objects (larger than A5 or 46in²) in the aisle, the closure process is halted, and the system initiates the visual safety procedure.
If the SafetyMaster® (PIR) detects an obstruction, the system will display an error message: "Obstruction Movement." To proceed, the user must press both eyes, located on the left and right sides of the aisle, while looking into the open aisle. This visual safety protocol ensures that the user visually confirms the aisle is empty before proceeding with the movement.
Our SafetyMaster® adheres to GDPR regulations (some of Europe’s strictest standards in privacy protection) by only storing a picture of an empty aisle. All image processing occurs within the SafetyMaster®, where the image is stored securely. There are no options for downloading or exporting the image. The system only sends a signal indicating whether the aisle is empty or not, ensuring compliance with GDPR data protection standards.
